On December 2nd, the Frank T. Wheeler Elementary School's fourth and fifth grade chorus performed on the ice at the Hartford Wolf Pack hockey game. Students in attendance participated in a “Teddy Bear Toss” where they brought a gently used stuffed animal, and after the Wolf Pack scored their first goal, the students tossed the stuffed animals onto the ice to be donated to Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Additionally, Wheeler School faculty members Sarah Miller and Samantha Woodward were recognized as “Educator's of the Game” and made an appearance on the arena's Jumbotron.
